Funny face at Wat Preypadoav ©2011 Geir Ertzgaard
I may be wrong, but from where I stand, Buddhists are considered as serious, contemplative and quiet, and humor is something you have to look hard for in their holy scripts, sacred places and houses of worship. The young monks at Wat Preypadoav were a happy lot, and the sculptures around the fence surrounding the wat indicated nothing else than a nice sense of humor.

Merci, Marie. Tout d’abord, je pense que c’est une image drôle, mais il est coloré et agréable.
S’il vous plaît excuser mon mauvais français
I – too – imagine them as studious..serious..without much laughter and light in their lives. Good to see another side! Fun image!
