  • Bloggstatistikk

  • Powerboats

My friend Kalle runs a boat import company, and a week ago I had the pleasure to do a photo shoot with my photo students. It was great fun, and some of the about 200 images seemed to work out well. Having a hard time choosing one representative image, this time I’m opting for a slideshow of 28 of the more usabel ones. Enjoy!

  • Landscape in green and blue

    Landscape in green and blue

15 kilometers from the busy town of Stavanger, Rennesøy lies there as one of the islands in the Ryfylke archipelago of islands. You don’t have the tropical rainbow of colors there, but the colors you have stand out- as you hopefully see from this landscape shot taken from «The Needle», a viewpoint near Vikevåg. You should go there some time.

  • På de skrå bredder

    Out on a limb

Fully explaining the idiom «På de skrå bredder» isn’t quite easy, but a translator’s network opted for «Treading the boards». It might or might not work for this image, but it sure isn’t the straight path this sheep is treading. The image has been heavily masked in CS4, and a clever eye might notice it:-).

  • Halong Canvas

    Halong Canvas

On the Halong Bay at night, the world is a canvas ready to be painted in colors. The bay is unsettingly beautiful in it’s foggy serenity, and it’s dark greyness become a plethora of wonderful images. Do these words mean anything? Naah, but neither does the picture. It’s just an impression from a night on the bay.

  • Hunger

    Hunger

For some reason this image makes me feel uncomfortable. It is some kind of reminder of what hunger might do to us, or the unsettling evil eyes of «the beast from the deep». I might put too much into this, but have a second look at that large evil looking fisho!

  • Trainman

    Train Man

On a train in China I met this nice guy who made the trip through the Chinese spring night a pleasant affair. If you didnt’t know, a smile makes a difference.
